Come join us this season of giving as we support Basically Babies YYC through a donation hike at Troll Falls in Kananaskis. Basically Babies is an Alberta-based registered charity that provides basic outfitting needs for newborn babies born to families in extreme need in the greater Edmonton and Calgary areas. Basically Babies offers the gift of a complete first year’s wardrobe and supplies for these infants in the form of a beautiful colour-coordinated basket layered with clothing, outerwear, blankets, toys, storybooks, sleepers, undershirts, footwear and other baby essentials.

While there isn’t a fee to attend this event, we ask that you bring a small bag of a few items that are new or gently-used to pass along to families in need. These items can include clothing, diapers, storybooks and other essentials items (see list above). We will also be accepting Food Bank donations, if you are unable to donate baby items. There will be hot chocolate provided by one of our sponsors, so we have added the option to purchase a Kids Who Explore Camping Mug, as well as a Kids Who Explore Toque.
